Yes! I loved both of these cartoons. I loved SR since I was probably 5. I've seen a few over the last 2 years, and some hold up pretty good, but probably not as much as JQ.

Do you remember the cartoons, Prince Planet (played TV mid 60s into early 70s on UHF stations in Chicago) and Battle of the Planets (1978-1985)? The former you probably saw as a kid. The later was very good (IGN 44th best animated series) but may have been after your time.


I'm drawing a complete blank on both of those cartoons, Sculpt. There were some good UHF channels in the Chicago area, especially Channel 32. Remember catching re-runs of THE BRADY BUNCH (where the announcer always mentioned something to do with "Pe-TAH!") and LOST IN SPACE (..."With the LOVELY Marta Kristen!")
