I know I never saw this movie completely before. I remember so many bits from it though. Perhaps catching parts on TV, cable, and the trailer in the past. I know I saw the original some time ago, which I like. Many parts of the remake seem directly lifted from the original and some of the casting as well. This might be one of those remakes that was made for US audiences because they couldn't be bothered with reading subtitles. Overall it's ok. Only a few notable scenes in the elevator and bus. And worth a watch for Buffy. I'll watch the original again when I get a chance. I bet it comes off as the superior version.

The thing I liked best about the remake was not having to read subtitles so I could stare at Sarah Michelle Gellar's face. Which I think was the best thing that came out of both films.
