Joy Ride 3
Watched while recovering from the flu today. If I wasn't feeling so drained I'd have plenty to say about it. But I'll
try.
The first movie was definitely the best of the three. The characters were so fucking stupid and the story so dull I didn't give a rat's ass when any of them died.
The movie started off with Rusty Nail killing a couple of crack addicts, and soon followed by police looking over the scene. For a moment it looked like maybe one of the cops would be the main focus and possibly match wits with our killer at last. But naaaaah that would've been ORIGINAL.
So instead we follow the same over used at this point shtick of taking one of the pretty people from the group and using that to make the rest of the group puppets and do whatever he wants. AND THEY DIDN'T EVEN DO THAT. Even after member after member of the their group dies they continue to not play along with Rusty's rules.
Oh and unlike the first two where we see very little of Rusty, in this one they all but show him. At one point we can CLEARLY see his face but the shot is still filmed like we aren't supposed to notice like he's so scary cause we can't see this
whimsical stranger.
