new horror: saw
 

someone was telling me about this new horror movie that's coming out soon, it's called "saw". supposedly it's quite graphic and gory, i was told to check out a preview/trailer on the internet, but computer wouldn't let me.
anyway, friend was telling me about a scene in which a girl had some metal contraption screwed to her jaw, like a trap-like thing, and it was timed to go off at a certain time and then it would fly open really wide, tearing her head apart with it. the only way she has of saving herself is with this key, which happens to be inside the belly of a dead girl. she's given a knife and told she has five minutes to get the key, then the girl on the floor moves, not dead afterall.
apparently there are supposed to be some good death scenes, but i refuse to give my hopes up as of yet, for fear of disappointment. has anyone else heard anything about this movie?

I've heard really good things aobut this movie. I thought that the killer was supposed to not really kill the people personally but rather drive them to kill thierselves.

I'm usually wary of direct to video horror. Mabe this one will be good, sounds like it has some decent reviews. Plus a nice title. :cool:
