Does anyone here remember the Entity?

Never saw it, but the commercials for it fucked me up as a kid. I was afraid to take a bath for a while.

the name rang a bell. had a look on imdb and I do remember parts of it..... must have seen it when I was a kid.


looks like a remake is due out in 2006 according to imdb.

I actually forgot about it, until I was talking to a friend of mine, and she reminded me. That movie freaked me out a bit too, but mind you I did see it like 20 years ago, or something! I was really just curious to see who else might remember it. I also read up about the re-make. I think the problem with remakes is that sometimes they just don't get it right. However, I will reserve judgement until I have seen it myself.

It was OK, worth a watch, it came out like in 80-81 I think. and starred Barbara Hershey(?) I was like 16-17 when I saw it and the hormones were in high gear when the ghost was doing the love groove with her.

They showed Entity often on the local TV station, and it should be based upon true events, it freaked me out too.

I saw this one i liked it!! Scared me for sure !!

Well I did......many years ago though! It was a disturbing movie at the time but I wonder if I would find it dated now!

EVERYONE talked about it bigtime when it came out!

Not a great, movie this one , its ok but I think a good remake could really improve it. Unlike other remakes this was never a classic so there is not much to spoil! The concept of being raped by invisible spirits is pretty creepy and Ringu's director is penciled in to be at the helm!
