Fright Night Classics-8 DVD set

I just got this set. It's pretty decent. It has Fulci's "House by the Cemetary","Silent Night, Bloody Night"(supposedly the first seasonal slasher), "Pieces", "the Hatchet Murders", S.F. Brownrigg's "Don't Look in the Basement", "the Sleeping Dead", 'Frankenstein's Daughter", and an extremely wierd one called "God Told Me To", in which the late Andy Kauffman plays a cop(for about five seconds before he dies). I'm sure you guys have seen "The House By the Cemetary", has anyone seen any of the others?

I got the Fright NIght DVD, but mine's a 10 pack.

Pieces is awesome!

Really? I haven't seen Pieces yet. What are the 9th and 10th in your pack?

Whaz up? That's a pretty good batch. Pieces is whacked out nuts insane, famous for the scene where the female victim wets her sweats, if you know what I mean. The Hatchet Murders is a cut version of Argento's Deep Red, so skip it. Don't Look in the Basement is pretty cool. Browning did follow-up called Don't Open the Door. Frankenstein's Daughter is sooo wonderously campy that it's a must-see. God Told Me to is more inspired nonsense from Larry Cohen. Richard Lynch with a pulsating vagina? Gotta love it. Silent Night, etc is worth a look, but mostly just a curio.

What is the Sleeping Dead? Do you know who directed it? I mighta seen it under a different title.

I'm not at home now, so I'll have to csheck out the info on the sleeping dead later and get back to you, I liked Don't look in the Basement, especially the actress- Rose Hollitec-? (I read she went on to become a Playmate), but what was the deal with "God Told Me To"? Started out okay, then degenerated into some wierd sci-fi thing with Jesus having a vagina on his chest and- anyway, the Sleeping Dead is a pretty ridiculous flick about 4 chicks kidnapped and taken to an island where hey are to be turned into zombies. Stars some actress named something Billingsly.

Is The Night Evelyn Came Out of the Grave uncut? Sinister Cinema and some other company offer it uncut but the transfers are horrible.
