Bass pale ale is great. Harpoon's IPA is another excellent choice.

DAMNIT! being in america, we get so few european beers over here.... Mostly Becks and Heinekin, neither of which i care for. Or amstel light :rolleyes:


I do love the english and irish beers, though. Here is what i have experienced:
Newcastle
Guiness
Bass
Harp
Old Thumper

god there must be more, i just cant think of them...Now answer me this shanks... Which is better, room temperature beer or cold beer?

beer's nicest at just below room temperature, if it's too cold the flavour is ruined. The Beers flavour is ment to be enjoyed slowly.

With lager... this is best drunk ice chilled, because thats the way most lagers are brewed these days, Ice chilled to improve the alcohol content and filter out the lager so it's nice and clear.

So... you obviously arent just a beer swilling drunk, you are a true coniseur....:)
