Imaginary People?

When I talk about having conversations with all of you to other people, some of them give me a strange look as if I'm talking to imaginary people. They don't seem to realize that it is sort of the same as talking to someone on the phone who lives far away, or having a pen pal. Some people act like I'm corresponding with Charles Manson LOL! My mom is one of these people!

My husband feels like he knows you guys already, and is used to it.

I think I know some of you better than I do a couple of staff members, after talking to someone enough you begin to get a real sense of their personality!

People are strange...............

I think a lot of people [ especially in my age group ,40ish ] haven't accepted computers as a way of communication. Quite a few of my friends don't have computers or if they do what they actually have is a $2000.00 deck of cards for solitaire. I personally think they are great. I can talk to people from the UK to Australia in a couple of keystrokes.

Its a generation thing. I finally got my folks to start using a computer on a regular basis (and now their PC is better than mind...DAMMIT)....and my grandparents have one (though its only used sparingly)...

I mean myself, I have been using the computer since before there even WAS an "internet"...chatting with people a bit more locally through was was called a Bulletion Board System (BBS). The precursor to the internet....

So..yeah....er..I AGREE? (circle gets the square!)

whats weird is the fact that these people like to 'live in the past'. I mean wtf, we have this technology that enables us to communicate and express our views with other people, and they choose not to use it.

who says we have to be face to face or use a telephone all the time, when there's so many other forms of communication these days.
