My Review for American Psycho 2
It was bound to happen, a cash in, direct to video sequel to American Psycho. Gone is Christian Bale, but is that so bad? Survey says: Kind of. We are left with Mila Kunis, better known as Jackie from the TV series That 70's Show. But damn she is so fine. But that still doesn't make this a good movie. Nope, what we get is a half assed effort that is barely even qualified to carry the American Psycho name.
The movie is hardly even related to the original. We do get a fake ass want to be Patrick Bateman semi-look alike in the beginning. His name is dropped a couple of times and that is about it.
Mila Kunis is still fun to watch though. God do I ever love her voice, I could listen to it all the time. But still she does give a fairly memorable performance.
On another note, we still get a silly soundtrack that perfectly fits the movies mood. The best song is by far the one that plays during the first kill, it's great.
Overall, it isn't that I am ripping on American Psycho 2, it is just that I don't think it is a worthy enough film to carry the the American Psycho label. But that is just me.
