Lead couple Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga have been confirmed to reappear, playing the Warren couple, while other actors have yet to be confirmed. In terms of story, this film seems to continue after “The Conjuring 3", tells about a series of demonic events that the Warren couple encountered in the 1980s.
The screenwriter is David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, one of "The Conjuring 2&3", and James Wan and Peter Safran will continue to produce.

I�m so excited to hear that Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga are back for The Conjuring 4! The two of them have been such a big part of the franchise, so seeing them reprise their roles as the Warrens is something to look forward to. With a familiar writer and co-producer James Wan on board, I�m hoping the film will deliver the same creepy vibes but with some new twists. Can�t wait to see what paranormal phenomena await us this time!
