Is it just me?

I am a big fan of indie horror & sci-fi films, such as what is found on TUBI. I am having a problem with the sound on some movies. It seems that a lot of the actors mumble or whisper without speaking out, and also the background music is so loud it drowns out the dialogue. I have stopped watching a lot of movies after a few minutes because I just could not understand what the characters are saying. The ones from the UK are even worse, as I can't understand what they are saying because of the accent. My GF, also a horror fan, says the same thing.

Anyone else have this problem?

If you guys are looking for more free streaming options, here are a few:

Pluto TV
Tubi

Kanopy (Free with library card)
Roku (Can stream for free using Chrome browser to Chromecast or Roku device)

Also, Troma Now just released The Toxic Avenger in 4k. I would support this streaming service before any other one that's paid. You can get a free month on your first signup.

Shudder also offers a free month if you use the promo word GRAVE. It used to be HorrorHound but that expired.

You're definitely not alone in this! Many viewers have reported similar issues with sound mixing in films, especially in indie horror and sci-fi genres. Here are a few tips that might help improve your viewing experience:

I have always loved this genre because indie horror often offers unique and unconventional plots. On 123 movies , I found many such films that were not only scary, but also made me think about deep themes. Each of them has a special atmosphere and an original approach to revealing the plot.
