How about Strangeland?

Just curious, I liked it a lot, but I don't run into many people who have seen it. Anyone here enjoy it too?

Hate to say it but I saw this when it was originally released on video, and hardly remember a thing about it. That's what? Sixteen, seventeen years? I think my memory loss here is more about the passing of time than the content of the film. I guess I will have to re-visit STRANGELAND~~!!

I saw it back around 2009 or so. I also don't remember much of it. I thought it was kind of an interesting commentary on judging people, and how that forces them back into negative habits. But then again, I was like 14 haha.

I love it and Snider makes a great villain.A nice litle gem i thought.

I saw it when it first came out. I didn't hate it but it wasn't a favorite. I love Twisted Sister and there was a new song on the soundtrack, so that was a plus. When Dee was a host on fangoria radio he talked about working a a follow up.

Yeah, he talked about a doing a follow up for a while, he even started pre production a couple of times. But funding kept drying up and he eventually abandoned it. I think now though, a remake would actually do great. With the presence of found footage and how large the internet has become, it could be incredibly effective now. I wish it would come together. I loved the original.

Very guilty pleasure - love it to bits.

Funnier still as I used to manage a tattoo studio and know alot of people who do suspensions. Loads of Captain Howdy diatribe/monologues are straight out of the Re/Search Modern Primitives book.

Just watched it again after a decade and a half. Damn good film! It's just plain creepy and unsettling.

Jake, this movie DOES scream for a remake. Set in current time, and accented by all of the technology at out fingertips, I cant imagine it not being a hell of a fun watch.

RIGHT!!! Well, as long as a studio doesn't get to heavy handed. If they let Dee take the wheel, it would be wicked good.

Im so happy everyone else loves it as much as I do. He did a lot of research from what I hear. Made it as accurately as he could. Its such a fun movie.
