I need the name of this horror movie?!!
 

Hi guys, I am new to this website as you can see and I am literally going crazy! I can't seem to find this movie I have been after for the past few months :(

Here is the plot of the movie from what I can remember;

In one scene, the son looks at a window from outside and sees an old man looking out of the house so he waves at him.

The woman in the house finds an old lady who used to live there, for answers.

The father digs up grave stones in the backyard on a rainy night.

The final "showdown" is in the garage or some kind of room like that. And there's a big face with some kind of portal/vortex underneath it and it's sucking in the kid.

Few people have said poltergeist, but its nowhere near that movie!

Really? Not a single response? Someone has to know the movie...

Well for starters, how old do you think it is? When did you watch it?

Mid 90's or late 90's is when I watched the movie. Really hard for me to find :(

And do you have any idea if the movie had been from the 60s, 70s, 80s or 90s?

definitely 90's and as for the plot, you can see it from the first comment I made.

Two of the things you listed (2 & 3) sounds like Phantasm 1979.

I know you said it was a 1990s film. I'm not an expert on that decade, but doesn't ring a bell. Sometimes people mix films together in their minds over time.
