Hellraiser ending
 
So I've seen Hellraiser a few times now, and I have a question about the ending: what is the dragon supposed to be? Is that supposed to bring the box to some other person so that they can open it? Or did I just miss something that was already explained?

That's pretty much how I understood it

I just didn't know if I had just missed something because the guy never appears again until Hellseeker and Revelations.
