Trying To Remember A Movie
 

All I remember was that it was about a family that was in this virtual reality-type setting, but set in Africa (I think). The one thing I remember was, a woman sees the exit door at the end, but a lion claws her to death just as she reaches for the door.

It was not Ghost and The Darkness or Prey, and it came out I believe in the late 80's early 90's(?)

Was it The Illustrated Man? I recognize some of it from the Bradbury book.
