Another Japanese horror- if you haven't noticed they are my favorite >.>;.Anyway, Kourei was wonderful. Not a drop of blood in the entire film but there was more than enough creepy tension. It's a movie about an ordinary couple. One is a sound engineer the other a psychic...well...see's and senses the dead or dying -who would like to aide the police. Toss in a 'Ringu-esque little girl and gah, you had me sitting in the dark alone, on edge for an hour and a half

yeah, why do they put Sadako-lite in so many of them? Ring series' notwithstanding, there's this one, Dark Water, Gawi, Phone, a tiny bit of one in Hypnosis, and a bunch of others that probably have slipped my mind. At least Kaïro (my favorite Japanese horror movie) left that out

...Just evil computers there >.>;...Anyway, I thought Kourei was great and the Sadako certainly didn't ruin the movie. I mean every movie with a creepy little kid isn't plagerism...Though that one scene where the little girl was crawling up the stairs reminded me COMPLETELY of Sadako...

I know that Creepy Kid doesn't = Sadako Plagerism, I mean, A.I. certainly didn't rip off Ringu, but the ones in the above mentioned movies always seem so similar to Sadako








and Haunted Internet > Sadako

True...haunted internet struck a bit closer to home...I spend more time on computers than hanging around creepy little girls...hell, I avoid kids at all costs...unless I'm baby sitting. But that's kind of a cost and-How the hell did I get to this?
