Interesting...I've never heard of this "pachinko".
Though, the older ones do remind me of something I saw in the game "Shenmue".

I don't think I've really played much Pachinko, the closest I've came is Peggle which is a game with a very similar style of play. Aim, hit pegs on the way down, score.
