eBooks

Where's the best place to purchase?

I don't have a Kindle and use a Android tablet to read books but Amazon only seems to cater for Kindle users?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Free app to read kindle books on your android.

Cool will look into that. Kinda wanted to read/store them with the same app though.

I tried site Kobo. After a bit of feeling like a dumb ass I worked it out... had to download Adobe's Digital Editions program.

You don't need any other app to access your kindle library. Amazon has the largest selection of books on the planet. They started out as a book seller. For ease of use and widest selection, it's your best bet, but if you don't like that option, good luck on your search.

itunes sells books, but I don't know if you can use that with android.

Haha I see where you're coming from.

I said exactly the same thing but I gave them a spin while traveling and haven't looked back. I find them quite convenient for a few reasons... mainly so I can read in bed when I get home at 4am from work without putting a light on and pissing off my girlfriend ::big grin::

I thought it would be strange reading off a tablet but once I found the right app it was all good.

Well - there's another good reason why i'll never use one - I have a complete library. I don't know if it was finished or not before I was here last - but it has 1000's of books I haven't read yet .. which I intend to ..

About 30 of them are horror :D

Have you read anything by Richard Layman yet ? I picked up his Night in the Lonesome October and was really impressed ..

Nope will have to check it out.

I remember you talking about getting a library set up at one point. Your house must be loaded with all sorts of killer stuff!
