SICK by Nelson Samuels

If you're into extreme horror, then this may be the book for you. From what I understand, it's book 1 of an anthology. It's graphic, extreme, and I loved every minute of it. I recommend checking it out. Here are the links.

And by anthology, Nelson, I assume you mean series?

bullardcreek 02-13-2013 05:07 PM

No, from what I've heard from the author's tweets, it's one of four parts that'll make up 1 novel. He's just releasing it in sections. The novel is an anthology. He's just releasing each story on it's own I guess you could say. I'm assuming he's going to release the full novel containing all 4 "books" after all's said and done, but I don't know this for a fact.

Don't know if you realize you called me Nelson or not, but that was the author's name. lol

Yes, I called you Nelson because it's painfully obvious you are the author.

You need to crack open your dictionary. An anthology is a book containing several works by different authors. A novel is a book length work. A "novel" cannot be an "anthology" and an "anthology" cannot be a "novel." The terms are mutually exclusive.

A work containing several stories by the samer author is called a collection. Several works with the same subject matter or storyline, published separately is called a series.

Thanks for the heads up bullardcreek I've now got the book on my kindle. I don't know if you're the author or not, given that I'd expect a published author to know the different types to book releases.

If you are the author though, I am now expecting "extreme" as you said in your first post.. from my experience of extreme, it's usually pretty tame so I can let you know what I think if you want, although I have a few lined up so this may take a while.

Anybody can self-publish.

Geek 02-26-2013 11:23 PM

I know. It was more, i would have expected someone who was into books enough to publish one *should* know the difference. If that makes sense.

But like i said if he is the author i would be more than happy to share my opinion with him

Well that was boring
