Ugh, still tired from this morning, saved a TON though. No real movie deals... well... the wife and I got ourselves the complete Lost collection for 99 bucks.

Didn't make it out, but I wound up getting the camera I wanted online for a decent deal. Pretty psyched for my Cannon Powershot G12 to come in the mail. :D

I'm ridiculously excited about it - My wee point-and-shoot just died on me and I spent a while researching and weighing whether or not I wanted to get an expensive point-and-shoot or a cheap DSLR - I decided to go with the expensive point-and-shoot and start saving up again for the DSLR. Plus, the boyfriend wants a DSLR too so I figured that we can split whichever one we decide on.

I've been taking a few Photoshop tutorials to brush up before the camera comes - My friend Kevin is going to give me some pointers on how to process RAW pics once I get the G12. Also ordered a 16 GB memory card. I'll wait on other accessories until the camera comes in. :D

I went for the cheap DSLR. Mostly for astrophotography, but I use it for a little of everything. My processing skills suck and I don't get the most out of photoshop, but it dont stop me having fun with it. Seems like the G12 has plenty of the features you would associate with a DSLR so I'm sure you are gonna have alot of fun with it. :cool:

Oh OH! I got some...some lovely new shoes, at discount price, 50% off. They have comfy gel insoles!
