Hi Elvis. Sorry to hear you've had a bad time recently; hope all has simmered down now.

I haven't noticed any Earth-shattering news (though others would probably be better qualified to update you). Just the usual stuff.

If it makes you feel any better, I just read Rue Morgue's review of A Siberian Film and it made me think of you - It sound incredibly graphic and disturbing and I thought to myself, "EC has probably seen this. Or if he hasn't, he should."

Indeed I have. Got a screener copy awhile back. Is the US getting an uncut release? Heard the UK version is gonna have around 4 minutes trimmed.

Well your not the only one having a shitty month.My days just keep getting worse and worse.I feel like ranting so I'm gonna give you the run down of my last few weeks.

First my girlfriend dumped cause she said she felt like she needed to be single for awhile.Then two weeks after that she's back with her ex.And the reason that I'm bothered most by this is that the guy she left me for has no job,no car or license,has one kid he doesn't take care of and another girl pregnant and only goal in life is to get drunk everyday.Thats the guy she left me for.

And she did it in such a shitty way.I don't have the best job but it's a job.I have a car and no kids.


She also thinks that because we have different opinion's that I hate her.For example because I'm not huge fan of country music and when I say something negative about country music it's like a punch in the chest.


And this whole experience has killed my self esteem.I mean if I lose a girl to a guy like that I must be pretty hopeless.

Sounds like there's nothing wrong with you, but there's something wrong with her. I've known girls like this who get out of a crappy relationship, find a really nice guy, but have such low self-esteems that they feel they don't deserve the nice guy and go crawling back to the d-bag. It's like some form of masochism.

I'm really sorry that happened to you.

Honestly not sure what version the US will have - From what I read, it doesn't really sound like my cup of tea. ;)

What did you think? How does it rank in terms of "most disturbing films ever"?
