Ever forgot you joined a forum many years ago?
 

So, I just received an automated Happy Birthday email from Horror.com and realised that I joined this site around 7 years ago. I'm still a pretty big horror fan (can't wait to see the new Nightmare on Elm Street, hopefully it will do the original some justice) and hope to start posting again on here again.

Have any of you guys completely forgot you joined a forum a while back and recently rediscovered it?

I haven't really joined many forums in my life, just this and Comingsoon.net (which i got very bored of). But cool that you're back! :D And happy birthday.

I did the same thing with this place. I joined in 2005, forgot about it for a couple years, then came back.

Nope. If I forget I signed up it's usually because the place held no interest for me.

I've joined a few forums...this one is the one I've posted most frequently in, the other two are more like for information on some things I am involved in.
I have joined a few over the years though, mainly only abandoning if they seemed dead or just like something with content I could already get elsewhere etc, though no, I have never forgotten that I'd joined...I might not remember all of them now, but there's usually a conscious decision to no longer bother.
Interesting, you've probably been a member almost as long as myself/other versions.
