Christian Group Protests NOTLD
 

Thought you guys might get a kick out of this.

Rue Morgue blogged about this today. A Christian Group protested an Ottawa screening of Night of the Living Dead by preaching on the sidewalk. They claim the movie is a bad representation of life because in real life you either go to heaven or hell, and don't return from the dead to walk the Earth. Tell that to Jesus. :rolleyes:

I think they were probably protesting it because it depicted a black man in a leadership position.

Haha that could be the case. I love how in the video they are just cutting people off who try to question them. "Are you going to Heaven or Hell? No I'm asking you, are you going to heaven or hell?" and they also make it very clear that they have not seen the movie, and they do not care to. It's just very typical behavior to not question their own religion, but be offended when anyone questions theirs. Blind faith makes me sick.

I once got kicked out of Sunday School when I was eight. We were reading scripture in what they call a classroom. There was a poster on the wall of Jesus, looking all white, with long light brown hair. So I asked how we know Jesus looked like that, said that for all the information we have on Jesus he could have been black. (Turns out that isn't far from the truth) but they kicked me out for being a bad influence on the other kids who never questioned anything.

From my experience, most Christians had better hope Christ decides to stay put.
