Amusing Idea for a Horror Movie

Okay, me and my friends are working on this small series of movies. The first one is going to be just an oddballish comedy called "Must Love Tacos" and you probably wouldn't care to hear the plot, all you need to know is that there are four main people and two stoner jahova witnesses. Either way, the second movie is going to be called "8 Slices of Evil" which is a comedic horror about a killer pizza boy who slaughters people who don't tip them (all in pizza related deaths of course). Think it would be good for a couple of laughs?

Ill have a large pepperoni and a 2 liter of coke.

Just have the guy shove the pizza down somebody's throat because they complained the pizza was cold, and he dies from choking.

I think I've seen this movie.

Not to be an asshole or anything, but this sounds weak.

What's with the food fascination? Tacos. Pizzas. What's next? Ho Hos?

Examine why you like films and filmmaking. Look at your favorite films. Examine their structure, characters and plotting and try again.

That sounds like the winning film!
...............

On a more serious note, while your ideas sound like they could be entertaining for a few chuckles, I'd try to keep them at about 5-6 minutes. Anything longer than that would be ridiculous.

If this is all for shits and giggles, go for it. If you're looking to make something that can be appreciated, take Rod's advice.

Well the food fascination is complete accidental. The first movie isn't actually based around tacos, it more has to deal with the type of relationships between all the characters. I made the title for the first one, but didn't come up with the second one, the other titles of possible future movies will not be food related. As far as it being weak, there is far more to the movies than just what I've explained, but it would be more wasting your time for me to try and explain the plot, because I have no nack for just explaining things.

Moving on though, there is definitely a bit more to the plot then I explained, but I would have to get in depth with the first one in order to explain the second one.

I don't think we are going to be able to give you any worthwhile advice or opinions, being that we really aren't being given the specifics.

The only thing I can guess at what you're shooting for, is something like "Santa's Slay", or some of those other silly movies you see on store shelves that are in the horror section, but are more comedy oriented than anything else.

Only other thing you have to take into account, is that with the taco title, if it isn't about tacos, it will still be branded that way for the most part.

Fair enough, but to be honest, I was just more looking for fun reactions, but I really do appreciate the advice as well and yes I am going for that "Santa's Slay" kind of style with 8 Slices of Evil.

Horror is serious business around these parts, hombre.
