Need Aid with Movie Title
 

It's about a man & wife who live in a town & when they try to drive down a road to get somewhere else, laser beams from outer space warn them to not do so. They end up staying & living in this town because it has a force field over it. Great move from maybe the 1990's------Planet Pluto salutes you for attempting to help me!
