the highest grossing horror movies should be stuff like halloween evil dead 2 etc

jaws is a classic and the way it's ALWAYS on cable and has been released and re-released on vhs/dvd, over time it's possible, i guess...

it is also a movie that changed the way we think about the sea and sharks. It put spielberg on the map! It is an awesome moster movie with top theme music and genuine jumpy momments!

PS. if a great white and a polar bear where in enough water for shark to swim but ohny up to thr bears waist, so he could wade who would win?

You can't have both. A great white is too big to swim in water that only goes up to a polar bear's waist.

I think feral cat is asking why it made the most money because the movie was not really that impressive (not much at all).
