DC's Deadman ready to roll
 

Deadman has scared himself up a director.

Bloody-Disgusting broke the news, and Variety later confirmed it, that Warner Bros. has tapped Danish filmmaker Nikolaj Arcel (Island of Lost Souls, King's Game) to direct.

Deadman is based on the DC Comics character whose real name is Boston Brand, a slain acrobat who has the power to possess the living in order to help him mete out justice and hunt down his murderer.

Deadman recently appeared in the cartoon Batman: The Brave & The Bold.

Guillermo del Toro will produce Deadman, along with Angry Films' Don Murphy and Susan Montford. Gary Dauberman penned the screenplay.

Cool comic. Might make an interesting movie. If done right

Phantom's right - this could be really cool, but only if handled properly. Kind of offbeat stuff, hopefully it works.
