Chemical Wedding
This first came to my intention when i heard it was penned by Bruce Dickenson (of Iron Maiden fame) - The film starts with prologue with a student of the occult and his sceptical college chum paying a visit to Aleister Crowley - played excently by the Cardinal guy from Apparitions.
The flash forward to modern day where so mumbo jumbo with a super computer and 2 amateur Occultists lead to the spirit of The Beast posessing one of them (a shy stuttering college professor). The change is immediate - he shaves his head, spouts lines from 'Crowley for Beginners' and pisses on his Students in a lecture.
Over all this is definally a guity pleasure of mine - its low budget and the acting is a little ropey in places but Simon Callow who plays the posessed prof steals every scene. The film also gets bonus points ofr a midget in an orgy scene and Callow drops a Crowley calling card on a rival Professors table.
I imagine true scholars of Crowley and the occult will hate this shit but they're equivalent of computer geeks slagging of WARGAMES. On a side note the Director was the editor on a couple of Python flicks as well as Time bandits.

Yeah it is - although I liked the Snuffsite section of that. I thought Razorblade Smile wasn't bad if you could get over the ultra-cheap look and subpar acting. For once the twist was good..
I think Crowley would be a great subject for a bioflick - not sure wheter an ultra realistic one or an exaggerated idea of THE BEAST would be best..
