Very interesting. This reminds me of those random-page threads of that mysterious Diary during Battle Royale last year.
And those references (to the best of my guessing abilities) to Urgeok, Newb, Zwoti, Rayne, Austin, Flayed, me and Neverending (??) have aroused my curiosity.
What do we eight have in common I wonder...hmm...six of us are Mods...all are old members...seven featured in BR...damn I cant see a common link.
Unless any/all of them is/are someone else, I stand corrected. Specially for Sir Quietness and Sir Monco.
(Those are the only ones who seem to have disagreed with the majority in that secret meeting too)
Controller? P.O.IT?
Wth...

bah - no silly mods can control the monkey

ferretchucker 07-06-2009 06:44 AM

I got a few of them. It seems likely that it's a reference to their status as mods. I suppose they're a kind of illuminati group.

cooll - maybe zero will bust out some simian whoop-ass on those no-good mods!

(oh, uhm, fictionally speaking of course dear sirs and madame)

Newb's never been a mod though, has he? Thats the main one that doesn't fit here.

Not sure I'm getting "Monco" either...how does that refrence Austin? I'm sure I'm missing something, but can't figure out the connection.

But Urge and Newb are not Mods. Well, Urge WAS a former Mod but Newb was never made an official HDC Mod.
Unless you count him getting elected as HDC President once, long ago.
Hmm...intriguing stuff, this.

Eastwood was called Monco in one of Leone's flicks. Thats the only connection I can think of.
Other than a bunch of hazy google references.

Maybe it's the council of senior members?

Although there are a few others that should be up there if that's the case.
