Actually I've been really disappointed with them the last few years. When they were first getting started they would have %off promotional codes several times a year, buy one get one sales and 50% sales on serious DVDS- Kino, Criterion, Warner 2-Disc, etc.

Now they offer things like 15% off Mill Creek titles, 10% off select childrens' books, and other rubbish like that. As they've gotten more and more commercial they've lost track of their original edge, and now I often prefer Amazon; the only thing DD has on Amazon now is free shipping, and if you're spending more than $25 at Amazon you get it anyway.

They used to be my go-to, now they're barely worth my time.

We had the first brick and mortar Deep Discount store a town over in Naperville Illinois. It closed last weekend. Were it not for the lameass retreat from the Deep Discounting they used to do, I would have cried myself to sleep when I found out. But I didn't, cause they turned on me. But, thanks Deep Discount store for a ten dollar Dr. Phibes double feature, for the HG Lewis box set for thirty bucks and for that Coffin Joe coffin nobody can find anywhere and for countless other deals back when you were cool.

I concur. They really suck now. I like Barnes and Nobles best because they have free shipping over $25 and it's UPS 2-day instead of Amazon's 2-week shipping. I do use Amazon if I can't find what I need at Barnes and Nobles or if there is a huge price difference and B&N tends to be a little more pricey.

DeepDiscount got me the Leprechaun 3 disc Triple Feature for $10 shipped. Now thats amazing. :]
