OK - let me be the first to start an official 'hail to the new Battle Royal King' thread. What a long and hard fought struggle - I enjoyed watching every bit of it and only wish I had bee able to participate this year.

Still - the new King has been crowned and SCOUSE MAC deserves a big HAIL TO THE KING from the entire HDC population.

And - of course - monumental thanks should go to _V_ who once again pulled together an amazing contest!

Congrats also to all the participants who fought and died valiantly on the field of battle - you were worthy competitors but as I can attest, there can only be one Battle Royal winner and this year - Scouse Mac is the KING!

As the new guy around here I'm sure glad I didn't win, it would've been kinda awkward. I can honestly say I wouldn't have made it as far as I did(as lucky as I seem to be) without Scouse Mac(and 1 or 2 others). The game wasn't set up for a showdown of trivia knowledge, but there was a ton of room for strategy. Believe it or not, I used the advice given by a few at the begining of the game to get as far as I did. Atleast one of those very same people seemed pissed that I had made it so far-ha:D .

Seriously, right at the end of the contest I filled my hard drive to the point where I couldn't post and had to upgrade it. I wouldn't say my luck ran out, I had a blast reading the results and the impact the game had on some people-a complete success on V's part. Thank's again for inviting me to play and to Scouse, you are the champion buddy, thanks for sticking by your word.
