Guys, I'm part of another forum that's getting thrashed by trolls, and I know that we've had our fair share. Some of you can battle them with ease. Please teach me how to get rid of these monsters. What is the quickest way to make them look stupid and leave? Please help!

You can't make them look stupid, because they're already doing it and they know it. Just set them to ignore and for the love of god make sure people don't make threads about them!

Seriously, like FC said: Ignore them.
Trolls thrive on attention, whether it's good or bad. So don't give them anything at all. Set them to ignore so you can't read their posts, and pretend they don't exist.

It's the most difficult thing for many people to do, but the others are right. Don't feed the trolls. Leave them to starve.

That's what I've been telling people, but they're all tolerant hippies. And there are no moderators on the forum just the site administrators. It sucks.
