Need Help w/Film Title
 

Hi,

I don't know much about this film but here's what I can provide: I saw it ONCE, on cable around 1987. It started out in the 1930's with a man in his attic(he's an actor married to an actress) and they're dancing and he kills her then hangs himself in the home. FFwd to the present where a nice family of four move in. But a local gang is using the house as its turf and begins harrassing the family by attacking the daughter and beating the son. Soon, the gang members are picked off by the ghost. What's worse, one of the gang members starts to change and he's eventually possessed by the ghost. From what I can remember, someone kills the possessed gang member but in the end you see a mirror and he's in it laughing and the mirror explodes(then you see the credits). Supossedly he's the great-grandson of the actor who hung himself, hence ther reason the ghost possesses him. At one time I honestly thought Beau Bridges played the father in the film but I can't find anything he's done that matches this. I THOUGHT the film was called "Dead Again" or "Back Again" or something to do with the word "mirror", but "Dead Again" was that film from 1991 and this defintely wasn't it. I'm going crazy trying to find info and I thought I did a few months ago on imdb.com but I can't recall how I did it(if I DID do it).

No it's not Mirror, Mirror. I read on imdb that there were several versions of Mirror, Mirror but the film I'm looking for was made in the 1980's, perhaps 85 or 87. I know one of the male gang members becomes possessed by the ghost because it's his great grandfather.
Most likely one of those diretcly to cable or video flicks.

I remember the movie you're talking about.. i cant remember the name of it..used to have it on video long ago..it is called.. "dead again"..or.maybe "twice dead"..or something like that i think..but..not sure ,but that may be it."twice dead"..hmmm.. need to do a search ..brb..:D

why the hell am I always late on reading this type of threads.. anywayz yeah it is Twice Dead.. got this one and it is an 80`s horror flick that is not all that great.. but to each his own

Well..yea..its far from great.. far from good actually....i've seen worse..but..then again..i've seen lots better.:p
