Sound question - find the movie

Hi.

My first visit in here - so cheers ;)

My question is for some hardcore (i think) experts, since I don't know much about horror flicks.

It is as follows :
Question 1:

The description is as follows: It's an old movie b/w. You see a women sit up in her bed screaming very loud. Camera angle is taken from her right side. The scream itself is very used in other new movies, but can't remember which. The scream makes it run cold down my back. Its very a very high pitch sound - as a women now can sound ;)

Any suggestions are welcome.

Question 2 :

This should be easier since I have an small outclip of the movie sound. Same thing again - women scream. Dont know where its from - thats what you guys should know ;)
Anyway - here's the clip : women scream

If you know the name of any of the movies - please write !!

I hope I have come to the right place!!

Happy hunting !

How about the first one being The Haunting?

Are we talking like 50's or older though? It could be any of the z grade schlocker stuff from around this time!!

Good luck!

I'll look into "The Haunting" and see if that is what I am looking for.

But yes - the first is around the 1950's or earlier.

Will get back to ya ;)

Oh if it's the fifties then it's not The Haunting as that was the 60's! Sorry! :(
