The Isolated Art of Michael Lee Ford

Not sure if this would go here or somewhere else. But it's a book so I'll put it here for now. Anyone seen this yet? It's pretty interesting. It's a book of collected drawings of a man by the name of Michael Lee Ford. He was sentenced to 35 years after a robbery in Texas and somewhere along the line he took up sculpting and drawing in jail. Now, I don't condone his actions and he is right where he needs to be. But I've always really been into psychology and the mind and this is a very interesting look into what goes on inside the mind of a dude who is locked away from the rest of the world for 23 hours per day for quite a number of years. The drawings may appears as just doodles to some. But they are actually pretty interesting and remind me a lot of the paintings done by horror legend Clive Barker. Just check out the Abarat stuff by Clive if you need comparison.

Anyway, to see pics from the book, be sure to check out my news story

It may not really be of interest to anyone else. But I thought it was quite intriguing. .
