I've had a look over a lot of posts here and i haven't seen this films name pop up anywhere (maybe i'm blind)and wondered if anyone remembers it and if it was any good. i only have a vauge recollection of it. i seem to remember the creature in it having a strechy neck - a bit like e.t......but gross. C.H.U.D stood for cannibalistic humaniod underground dweller. i remember there was a part 2 and it had nothing to do with the first. so any help you could give would be much appreciated as i may well purchase it.

NO!!!! This movie fucking sucks. I bought it for 5 dollars. That is how bad it is. That was a waste of 5 dollars. The movie is just plain terrible.

I agree... It is a horrible movie. There's not many kills, and the idea behind it stinks as much as the sewers the creatures dwell in.

maybe the sewers don't stink, though. Ever think of that? I don't think you have.

I've never seen C.H.U.D. But, they were going to use it in Donnie Darko for the scene where him and Gretchen are in the theater, but they didn't have enough money to pay for it. So they used something else.

yeah evil dead was on the cinema in DD. well i wont be buying chud then. cheers, i could of ended up buying a real pile of crap.

I kinda like CHUD!!! It's nothing special or anything, kinda slow but it's got some really good acting in it. It's probably me just being nostalgic about it. The DVD has excellent commentary, very funny.

I share similar views. It's not that bad. Nothing great, but a good monster movie. I especially love how seedy the movie looks. That whole city is freakin' filthy.
