Help!
 

Do any of you horror experts recall a film where a little girl is trapped in the basement and she writes help on the dusty cellar window, then the camera changes to a view of the outside and the cellar window is shown with the word help spelled backwards? If anyone can remember the name of this film or any other details of the film, that would be great! This scene has haunted me for years, and none of my family or friends remember ever having seen it. Oh and I think it came out in the eighties cause I remember being very young when I watched it.

It's a bad joke that gets played on everyone who comes here looking for the title of a movie they saw once upon a time. The movie is always "The Gate."

i've never seen the gate...and apparently i dont want to...but is the movie that bad or something? whats it about?

It's not an awful movie, it's just a bit strange. Around here, it's a joke.
