Those that Don't have PS3...

But have thought about it;
I have recently come across some information at work.
No real specifics, but I'll tell you what I know.
With the impending (so damn close) release of a certain rockstar title, a package is set to be released - I literally know nothing else.
So, if you're looking at a ps3, might be an idea to hang back until say 24-25 April before doing so, after all, you'll only be getting the game that you know you'll buy already - I'm confident most will.
Anyways I have one of the guys from EB giving me a call when it's available.
He didn't know anything either, and since the EB guys just love breaking the rules (releasing games too early, insider info at customer request) I'd believe him.
So, there ya go.
Next to nothing - but a point of interest.

I have heard the same thing. Rumors I have heard suggest the bundle will be $749, which is pretty good value.

I got mine bundled with GT5P for $678, which is probably comparable value. Especially since I think I will be getting my copy of GTAIV from abroad, to avoid the censored version we are getting in Australia.

So far, have got Fight Night Round 3, GT5P, and Singstar (ahem...).

And Close Encounters of the Third Kind on Blu-Ray.

And set up TVersity media server - which is a brilliant piece of software.

Great news for anyone who doesn't have a PS3 yet and is planning to buy one.

A PS3 + GTA IV...kickass combo.

I believe it's just some cutscene, or part of one...nothing to do with game/mission content.

Confirmed on the package.
Not sure about the price - but that's now many AUD the standard package is right now, through retailers, no?

good to know ...

Halo 3 takes priority over anything the PS3 has right now ..

I love my 360.Have since the day I got it.I hear alot of people talking about how better the PS3 is.Right now as far as I can see the PS3 has nothing to back up those statements.

They say its better casue the online is free. But I also hear that there online service is crappy. It lags alot and there's tons of problems with the servers.

Now on the other hand I think 50 a year for 360 online is well worth it.They provide a great online service.I rarely get lag and there servers are almost never down.

I dont really think the graphics are any better either.Maybe a little bit but not enough to sway anybodys judgement away I dont think.

If Sony had got exclusive rights to GTA 4 then maybe they would be giving Xbox a run for there money.but they didn't so there not.Sony has no really excitable exclusives, at least not in my eyes.

Actually the retail price on the PS3 + GT5P bundle is $699, so $749 with GT4 doesn't seem ridiculous.

Grand Turismo 5 is a pretty major exclusive. May not be your bag, but it is a very popular franchise, and I am sure sold many PSX and PS2 systems with earlier installments.
