Fans who were dismayed by the separation of GRINDHOUSE into separate features on DVD will be thrilled by the news that the Starz cable channel will show the movie in its original theatrical cut next Monday, March 31 at 9 p.m.

Yes, Robert Rodriguez’s PLANET TERROR and Quentin Tarantino’s DEATH PROOF will be seen together as they were on big screens last year, complete with all the fake trailers as well as the missing reels, etc. (and presumably all the bloody mayhem intact).

Check it out, since the long-rumored DVD release of GRINDHOUSE’s initial version has yet to be officially announced.

I'm ordering it for a couple of days and then dumping it... you can usually bitch enough to the cable company to let you prorate and only pay for the days you use.

not if they're trying to recoup their losses it isnt.

i'm sure that they'll release the full uncut version eventually.

in this case - i cant say i blame them either. that was a quality production that deserved to earn the big dollars it'll never get.

.. is Starz the same company as the one that bought out anchor bay ?
