Tornado

We have been under attack captain!

We had a Tornado touch down in the town I live in.

Not good.

if you wake up and see little people - start running for the big green building!

(seriously - keep to the middle of the house or basement and stay away from windows)

There isn't a good place to hide in our house. We have no basement, and windows are everywhere. We'd be pretty much screwed.

You could try running really fast in the opposite direction?

bathtub is your best bet if it really hits - best to cover yourself with something soft and heavy - a mattress can do the trick if you've got time to drag it in.

Hope everything's OK VC and the storms have passed.

An interior closet is good too, if you don't have a basement.

a geez that's such a scary thought. are tornados not somethin that usually happens in your area? i remember last year when a tornado touched down in Brooklyn close to my brother's apartment and it made headlines for almost a week.
