I Would Normally Never Ask This of Anyone...
As most of you might already know my girlfriend is extremely sick and is in a hospital in Minnesota. I live in New Jersey and she was at the hospital in Hershey, PA but was transfered to Minnesota because tests showed possible cancer in her brain and it was a better hospital to go to. She called me yesterday crying saying she missed me and was scared and it was growing harder to breathe. I feel extremely helpless and wish to be there to be with her but my money situation is awful.
Friends from a wrestling message board I frequent all chipped together and helped me raise some money using a paypal account (in which they regulate and won't let me touch) just in case I was lying in which I am not. This has made be extremely speachless and I thank them so very much for this. They have managed to get together about $165 dollars. In order to get roundtrip plane tickets, a few nights in a cheap hotel, and a rental car to get from the hotel/airport to the hospital is $455 on priceline.com. If you could help me then I would be so very gracious. This woman means the world to me and it hurts so much not being able to be there for her. I (Bill) have a friend that is in a bad situation. He lives in west Jersey not far from Philly. However, his fiancee was rushed to Hershey, PA for major medical problems. They think it's a severe case of Cancer and the flew her directly to Minnesota. They have gotten to talk a few times on the phone. Last he heard from her, she was in tears and said it was hard to breathe. It's bad! I was informed about 9 days ago that his mother was falling behind and their house is borderline being forclosed..... He's in a stream of bad luck and needs this help to fly to MN.... Seeing her and being with her through what will probably be the hardest time of their lives..... will hopefully give him a belief that everything will be just dandy. It will give him hope that God is looking out for them and that no matter what will ever come their way in the future will not amount to what they are going through now. I don't know how I would have been able to stay at home while Dawn was in the hospital 5 times in less than 9 days. I want to be by her side."<<<< I have been so blessed over the past week that Dawn is making a full recovery. I was afraid it might go horrible and I'd lose her. I got to be by her side and we helped each other be a strong unit. Some of you saw my Bulletin about having a baby. Well, we lost it. It started Sunday morning and she came out of the operating room on Tuesday. Two trips to the E.R. a total of 22hrs in the hospital out of 50 or so hours. It was a mess. I was a mess and on the verge of losing my mind. It's a tragedy but, God wanted it that way and I realized he bless me with this as my eyes are open and I don't think our love and relationship could get any stronger. I can only thank God, and I want nothing more than to pay it forward. Dawn and I have decided to put forth $50 to try and help him get to Minnesota where he and I have a friend that has a couch for him to sleep on. And if we have to, we just might double that 50. Doing this means a great deal to us and a few of his other friends..... We can get a decent priced plane ticket from Philly to MN and probably a decent priced car rental to get back and forth from the friends couch and the hospital. "Anything For Friends" That's what Dawn and I say.... I hope most, or ALL of you heel that way about your friends...... And I hope you can all see it in your heart to try and help us help him. Even if you only have $5-$10 to spare. I know it's not anything as big as the March Of Dimes, or another charity. But, it'll help me to help him! If you can do this in the next 2-3 days, it will be greatly appreciated! If you can't at all, please at least keep him in a small prayer.... Can you not drive?
I mean, i hate to put a damper on this but why are you even waiting on a plane ticket? I really am truly sorry if you cannot drive or do not have access to a vehicle. |

I'd really like to help you Gore, but I don't have much to give... In a money slum myself (which is my own damn fault for spending most all I had on new dvds the other day). I'll keep you and your lady love in my prayers though, I hope it all works out for the best for you.

Check out Greyhound. I use them to get to my boyfriend's residence and back and they are pretty cheap. If you buy your ticket the day before departure you can get an even better deal or use your student card for a discount.
Also, to cut costs you could find a campsite or stay at a church or hostel instead of renting a room. Hostels are much much cheaper than hotels. I checked out Greyhound for ya, a rount trip ticket from Newark to Minneapollis without discounts is $304 There's also a hostel in Minneapolis near the bus line that's $26 per night |
This is a realy cheap bus company which is in the U.S and U.K, you have to book online with a credit card. so if your folks or a friend has a card you could use then pay them back...

I would but I don't have a paypal account and my Dad isn't ken on the idea of using his money on someone he doesn't know anything about. I really would like to help out. I do reccomend the bus or maybe a train as they're cheaper.
