Japanese horror movies - do you like them?

Do you like Japanese horror movies?
I think they are the best horror movies.

Why they are so different?

Watch them all the time. I post about how i like or dislike them in the Japanese Horror section of the forum. :D

Actually, I like Japenese Horror films better than most American ones, the reason for that is because lately, all the horror films have been crap. They seem to be MADE FOR MONEY. Whereas the Japanese ones are MADE FOR HORROR. Of course not all American films are like that, but for the most part I feel that they are.

the Italians have it all over the Japaneses.

Have seen some, Audition is my fave though, creepy as hell.

I agree italian movies are good and scary whereas japenese movie (with the exception of the audition) just arent scary

Especially giallo and zombie films!

I love Asian horror, though I wouldn't say its the best horror. Just like everywhere else they have their good ones, they have their bad ones, and their forgettable ones.

Audition, Battle Royal, couple others i cant think of just now...

love em... they tap into a darker fear than simple gore
