H.D.C. Live?
 

First of all I want to thank Gore, for letting us know about this radio talk show thing...I would not have known that the capability existed if it hadn't been for him.

Second, I would like to get some opinions from you guys on this idea.


What if we created a 'show' for ONLY HDC members?...One where we all know everyone who's calling in, and we can hang out together?...It would be just like our forum here, but instead of posting, we'd be speaking

Here are some of the ideas that I had for it:

1) It would HAVE to be on a night when Gore is NOT having HIS show, so that there would be no conflicts there...Then you guys would have a chance to do both

2) We could work out a time that would make it possible to include as many forum members as we can (we'll have to compare time zones on this one)

3) We would have to decide who would 'host' it, as there has to be one person to turn the thing on and let the calls through...Unless there's a way that we could take turns hosting it, I don't know because I haven't actually seen how it works

4) There wouldn't really be a 'topic'...We could just discuss any current topics that are on the forum, or just call in and chit chat

If you guys decide you want to try this, I would very much like to hear from all of you on the show, especially the people who we haven't gotten a chance to talk to on the phone yet:

And EVERYONE else that we haven't heard from

I would also love it if we could figure out a way to get the people from outside of America in on this...Maybe even Zwoti could make a brief 'appearance'

I have to wait til the end of the month. I did phone in on my mobile at one point and it lost about £2.00 of credit within 30 mins. But then, mobiles do cost more. I think we have something that makes international calls cheaper.

I would possibly participate occassionally- as long as it was after 7pm pacific- that's when my evening minutes kick in. My nights are pretty busy though- and I have several other shows I catch on various nights, by broadcasters I know.

I like the idea.I would love to able able to call in and talk to you people.

Hmm...We would have to see what time 7pm Pacific is for the rest of us...Is it Midnight or 1am here?...Something else?...I'm really not sure...Doesn't California actually have different time zones within the state?...Like between the northern and southern parts?
