Please help me I.d. this movie
 

I saw a movie like 12 years ago and have been trying to find it since. I remember only a few parts I will list. I was pretty sure the movie was called "Attack of the man eating mud monster" or something relatively close to that title. The movie was in black and white and the monster looked a lot like the creature from the black lagoon. The parts I remember is the monster climbing on boat and killing a young couple possibly having sex but I cant be positive. The other part I remember I think takes place in a library like setting with a scientist who knew about the creature and was trying to help stop him. Half of his face was mutilated, IM pretty sure it was from the mud monster. This is all I can remember but if anyone can help me i.d. this movie Id be very grateful.

It was a mud monter, there was a couple attacked on a boat, but I don't believe it was in black and white.

I looked into that movie spawn of the slithis and I feel its too new. netflix doesnt have it or i would of rented it. I am almost possitive that the movie is black and white and. The movie im thinking of also aired late at night around 3 am.

I don't remember the scientist with the messed-up face, but I do remember that Spawn of the Slithis is a real howler monkey of a poop movie. A lot of fun if you like that sort of, ahem, thing.

I should mention that the night I watched this I was like 10 and extremely sick, I threw up 13 times that night. I missed a lot of it and I wasnt totaly with it.
