Creepers AKA Phenomena 1985
There's some community tv station here that you can pick up if you've got a pretty decent SAT or areal setup...Strange shows, terrible shows, and some pretty decent shows. Anyways before I move onto questions, I'll tell you about something that I personally think is pretty cool...
Anyhoo, I came across a horror movie show. Every friday night at 10:30pm it's on, hosted by a skeleton. There's intermissions here'n there, and this guy (whoever is the man behind the skeleton) is actually pretty knowledgeable about films...it's pretty cool...it's kind've like watching a dvd with the commentary on, without having it run over the film. The good thing is, they seem to show foreign, strage, and/or obscure horror films, nothing really post early 90's. It's good to catch up on films that I've mostly missed. Now, I've never heard of this particular film (see thread title) and I'd like to know if it's worth a look...I know it's supposedly got Jennifer Connely in it, who's an ass I'd hit like WHUT!, and I see it's directed by Dario Argento - Never seen any of his films, but I have heard good things... So guys, you tell ME. It's now 7:52pm, so I've got a while yet before I make my decision. |
Its an AWESOME movie!
Jennifer Connelly made her debut through this one, and I regard it as one of Argento's finest creations, alongside Suspiria, Tenebre & Deep Red. Cant say much about it or it wont be spoiler-free, but its a great slasher, and there's a nice supernatural touch to the lead actress played by Connelly. I m surprised you havent seen this one yet. My view? watch it asap. I m sure you ll love this one, cheebs. |
Cool, thanks for the info I'll probably check it out.
Here's hoping for some Connelly titty.:o |
None of that in this one, I m afraid.;)
She looks very young, very fresh and lovely though...if thats of some consolation.:p |

It's funny about these things. This is one of those movies that I saw in the early 90's and didn't like very much. And now, with a few more years on and maybe a little more education and worldliness acquired, I find it to be very enjoyable.
I believe that at this point, Argento was mainly interested in having fun and playing with some new ideas and new types of poetic images. |

This thread was to help me with my decision, your opinions on the film, not mine, bald. |
