Can anyone help me please?

Hi. This is my first post on this site. I've just read your Top 100 and was very impressed. I need some help finding a film that I watched when I was a kid. I can only remember bits of it but would really like to get hold of a copy and watch it again. If anyone can help, I would really appreciate it.

It was in the early-mid 80's but I can't remember if it was on TV or on VHS. All I know is that I had nightmares every night for about 6 years afterwards. Bear in mind I was only about 5 years old and probably shouldn't have been watching it. Here goes...

From what little I can recall it was Sci-Fi Horror and I don't think it was set on Earth. The characters were a group of scientists (I think). I can just about remember the way some of the characters were killed. One of the characters gets lowered down on a rope into a hole in the ground to investigate but unbeknown to him there are leech-like creatures down there which attack him and suck him to death. Another character (a man with a bald head and bushy beard) gets his arm chopped off at the elbow. The arm is later shown being eaten by maggot-like creatures which somehow all turn into giant maggot-like creatures, one of which swallows a female character and then spits her out naked.

Needless to say all of them turn into zombies and spend the rest of the film chasing the rest of the humans around whatever planet or space station they are on.

Bit random I know, any ideas?

Thanks.

Thanks so much. I'm very impressed by your knowledge. I've just ordered a copy of it for £7, nice one.

Just searched for it on youtube and watched the arm-slicing scene and the maggot rape scene. I can't believe someone let me watch that when I was so young. Sicko's
