Criminal Justice Degree?

Do any of you have a degree in Criminal Justice and/or are participating in that career. I am 18 years old and am deciding if I should go into that career or not. I know that I will enjoy it but am not so sure if the money is all that great. I am deciding between this and computer networking which will be a great deal more cash but I doubt I will enjoy it in any way. I do NOT want to be a cop persay, Im more into detective work and such. I was just wondering if any of you are involved in this type of work and if so is it worth it and is it a good career to get into?

Don't know if this is the right place for this... general would be better (and get more responses). If you want to enjoy life, pick a career you'll actually like. If you want to amass a fortune that will be useless when you're rotting in the ground, go for something that will dull your senses and make you unhappy (until you finally land a job making boatloads of cash and buy, or try to buy, your happiness back).
