Plan 9 From Outer Space

Im planning on getting this, but i need some input first.

How crazily stupid is this? does it remain rediculous even to today's standards?

I have only seen bits and pieces but what I have seen is terrible, but in a cool ass cheesy retro kinda way.

Watch Tim Burton's "Ed Wood" - that should determine whether or not you'll like Plan 9.

Personally, Im a big Ed Wood fan and Plan 9 is probaly his best/worst (however you look at it)

Well, for what it's worth, because my opinion is really just my opinion...

This is required viewing. Not just because it's bad but because it's fascinating.

It's deranged. It's funny. It's cool.

I agree that it should be seen, but I can't imagine wanting to own it. Once was plenty.

Plan 9 is the King of Cheesy B-Movies, so if you don't like cheesyiness, I'd stay away. It stars Bela Lugosi and Vampyra.

I would definitely watch Tim Burton's Ed Wood first though, it will make you appreciate and "test run" Plan 9 first.

Ed Wood's second most famous film is Glen or Glenda.

Personally, I'd suggest looking into this:

Awesome set. One of the highlights of my collection, even though theres still a couple I havent watched yet.

All the more reason to spring for the whole box - Ed Wood is the God of cheesy movies. Plan 9 is probably the best, but both Bride of the Monster and Night of the Ghouls are damn close runner ups. Ive yet to watch Glen or Glenda and Jailbait, but Im sure they're just as awesome:D
