Figured it out

A while back, I posted a thread about a man eating t.v....well, I finally discovered what it was. It's called Def By Temptation, which is a retarded name for a movie, but the t.v. thing scared the hell out of me. Just figured I would throw that out there, because I had to buy Seargent Kabukiman N.Y.P.D to see the trailer for it.

It's nice to get nagging little things like that out of your head.

Awesome! You found it. That's a relief. I remember when that was in theatres (yes, it really was, folks!). Never saw it though.

It was directed by James Bond? The third no less? Wow... sounds terrifying. ;)

Kabukiman...how is that?

You know, Kabukiman was classic Troma. That is to say, it was stupid and silly and very entertaining lol....I got it at the same time as Tromeo and Juliet, and I have to say T&J is the flat out best Troma movie I've ever seen. Kabukiman is worth buying, though. Just to see a grown man in a bad mask throw heat seeking chopsticks at bad guys and cover them in wasabi;)

i didnt see anything too special about Tromeo and Juliet. it felt kinda like the same thing as Terror Firmer. what was it you liked about it so much?

As for "the best" Troma movie, i would have to say Citizen Toxie. pure genius. funniest Troma movie, if not funniest all around movie.

I guess I liked it because I'm a Shakespeare buff, and I appreciated the way they warped and twisted the story into something different. I've seen all the Romeo and Juliet story spins, and this one was my favorite.....no other R&J film has penis monsters and lesbian sex, much less gratuitous gore. I like the little Shakespeare cameo at the end too, it even gave me a funny little chill, what he said.
I love all my Troma because it doesn't try to be something it's not.....most of it is pure unadulterated crap and it's great because of that.
