That's because the evergree tree was part of, and I'm proud to say, part of the Druid's Solstice celebration, as was holly, but it's not propper evergreen unless you have mistletoe. Don't reccomend mistletoe unless it's placed high up, otherwise a pet or young child might er...become very very ill. (Mistletoe tends to be extremely poisonous as you well know).
